Sri Harimandir Sahib, Amritsar
The Harimandir Sahib (meaning Temple of God) is also commonly known as the Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib (Divine Court). It is situated in the city of Amritsar in Punjab. The Golden Temple is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. It is a source of inspiration for all Sikhs and their chief place of pilgrimage.
3 Nights / 4 Days — Delhi and Amritsar
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon darshan at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk. Night at hotel.
Delhi to Amritsar — by Shatabdi or Vande Bharat (about 6 hours), or by road on NH-44 (approx 450 km, 8 hours). Check in and take evening darshan at Sri Harimandir Sahib. Night at hotel.
Amritvela at the Golden Temple. After breakfast, the Akal Takht, Jallianwala Bagh and Gurudwara Shaheed Ganj Baba Deep Singh Ji. Evening at the Wagha Border retreat ceremony (approx 28 km). Night at hotel.
Final darshan, then transfer to Amritsar airport or railway station for the return to Delhi or your onward journey.
