Sri Harimandir Sahib, Amritsar
The Harimandir Sahib (meaning Temple of God) is also commonly known as the Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib (Divine Court). It is situated in the city of Amritsar in Punjab. The Golden Temple is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. It is a source of inspiration for all Sikhs and their chief place of pilgrimage.
3 Nights / 4 Days — Damdama Sahib and the Golden Temple
Arrive Amritsar. Transfer to hotel, then evening darshan at Sri Harimandir Sahib and the Akal Takht. Night at hotel.
Amritvela at the Golden Temple. After breakfast drive to Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo (approx 150 km), stopping at Tarn Taran Sahib on the way. Darshan at the Takht where the Damdami Bir was dictated to Bhai Mani Singh. Night at Bathinda or Talwandi Sabo.
Morning darshan at Damdama Sahib and the nearby Gurudwaras Likhansar Sahib, Jandsar Sahib and Mata Sundri Ji. Return drive to Amritsar. Night at hotel.
Final darshan and, if time allows, Jallianwala Bagh, then transfer for departure.
